Hello and welcome! We are Carla and Zeus and our goal is to facilitate YOUR life by finding the best dog friendly locations, activities and products for you and your furry friend. We are here to take the guess work OUT and the fun IN!

Discover Fun Life was inspired by my love of traveling, love of adventure and love of discovering fun spots that only locals would know about. As a solo traveler myself, I do extensive research on the best restaurants, trendy spots and the must see attractions of the place I'm going to. From there, I put together a lose game plan with a rough time frame needed for that area.  I prefer to walk where I can so that I can soak up as much of my destination as possible. It's this way that I've stumbled upon some of the best restaurants and rare findings that make the trip memorable.

The concept changed a little after I got my four legged furry friend, Zeus. He's the best travel buddy, small enough to fit in a bag but big enough to handle himself on our explorative walks. He really is the best companion. Our mission now is to find the best dog friendly places, activities and products for you, so you don’t have to!

Lately though, I've been thinking how nice it would be to share these adventures with other people. So, with that in mind, I created my South Florida Yorkie Meetup group, where I offer a meetup once a month. The goal is to gather like minded individuals together, with their dogs, to explore South Florida while also supporting small local businesses. I offer Pawsome Pup contests monthly, partnering with other dog businesses to offer a fun prize that changes every month. 

Eventually, as we grow, the concept will change. So stay tuned and follow us for fun and adventure. We will find the things that you MUST DO when you are on out with your pup.

Right now, we are also offering our event planning services for dog birthday parties. More details to come soon. Our event services are live and ready. Please refer to our website for all details on our party concept.

Discover Fun Life: Upcoming November Events

 Hi everyone!  We've been super busy hosting and planning events in October but we are getting ready to keep this year moving. November is upon us, and we have a few fun events in the works! First, join us for our SECOND Barks N' Brunch event on Sunday November 3rd, from 10:30am-12:30pm. I'm happy about this one, because this will be at one of my favorite places in SoFlo. The Bloody Mary is delicious and the tuna wontons are to die for. Where is this place with the amazing food? The Nauti Dawg Marina Cafe , located in Lighthouse Point.  It's located right at the marina, with beautiful water views. Sometimes you'll see the tarpon swimming around and you get to enjoy looking at some pretty nice boats. The area is super sweet, with pastel colored houses and a community pool not too far from the restaurant.
